singaporean cant not live without food because it is our pasttime to eat every hour there are people at the food centre waiting for the lunch break just to eat and at night after the world cup the food centre will be packed because of food lovers
We never know if the Singapore government closed all the hawker centres one day. Nowadays generation getting more pampered with air conditioned environment. I guess we can only pray for good economy with salary to match so we can continue to patron stalls and dishes reappear in cafés and restaurants with prices to match. Otherwise we can only DIY or travel to other neigbouring country for food.
