			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&#8230; the Table Tennis ladies! Singapore&#8217;s hopes for an Olympic medal (after waiting for nearly 5 decades) could finally come true. At <strong>2.30pm Singapore time</strong> today, we will take on South Korea in the table tennis semi finals which will be shown live on Channel 5. While Malaysia&#8217;s Olympic hopes are banked on their Badminton shuttler (who thrashed our own Ronald Susilo quite badly), all of our eyes will be focused intently on <a target="_blank" href="http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20080815/tap-983-olympics-singapore-women-paddler-231650b.html" title="Singapore women paddlers into team semis, men’s team fails to qualify">Li Jiawei and her table tennis team</a> today.</p>
<p>So far Singapore has done quite alright (besides a few which one shalt not name). Tao Li has done us proud by being in the Swimming finals and Bryan Tay rewrote the national record.
